From among the Brazilian main producing areas, the Bourbon Regions are strategically defined to guarantee profile, geographical characteristics, history and fascinating stories.

Named after the railway and known as a traditional coffee area, the new generation of producers are bringing a beautiful movement of fresh ideas and very good coffees.

Due to its peculiar microclimate and proximity to the ocean, this region has been a highlight in recent crops after changing its processing methods from natural to pulped natural and washed.

Neighbor of Alta Mogiana but located in South Minas, its name has indigenous origins. Ibiraci is a region with higher altitude compared to its surroundings, a flat plateau that produces a great quality.

Outside the crater of an extinct volcano, this region has excellent soil fertility, high altitude and nice story behind it. Also, it is where Bourbon's headquarters is located.

Where Bourbon started to export its first coffees, this valley once belonged to the matriarch Mathilde who have grown coffee since the 19th century and now have been divided in 6 main farms and some small producers as well.

From the demand for a specific profile, Creation is a tailor-made purchase in a container volume which involves not only choosing a coffee of determined quality which represents 82/83 SCA, but also with its own brand, from the first sample to the final bags. As an additional service to this product category, Bourbon can offer the option to create the brand with our designers, providing all the necessary marketing details.

From the beginning Bourbon is aware that part of its role as exporter is to represent the farmers. Therefore, the Estate offer consists of the combination of a single farm and a specific variety. There is annual work done by the producer together with Bourbon to discover which varieties have the best performance, to be made available as Estate.
